Medical research

The content provided in medical research field would give foundation for students to further perform research in the field of medicine. Several topics covered in this area are: methodology of research, Biostatistics and Evidence Based Medicine. Students would have the opportunity to conduct research in the field of medicine as part of the requirement to fulfill a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery Degree.

Population and Individual

The scope of content under population and individual gives fundamental understanding on the broad aspects of “health” and “health determinants” both at the individual and population. It would also include principles of epidemiology, different individual-based and population based strategies prevention and also identify and address community health needs and disparities locally and nationally.
